The powder painting system employs a highly advanced technology that allows PROCAN S.r.l. to ensure quick response in meeting customer needs. The plant is suitable to paint particulars whose length is up to 3,5 meters and ensures an excellent quality of the final product.
The equipment features a number of different elements joined together by a closed circuit overhead conveyer, on which treated parts are directly hanged. The system’s main elements are:

Powder painting, as opposed to traditional liquid painting, provides therefore considerable advantages from the environmental protection point of view:

• complete elimination of solvents emissions;
• reduction of problems related to the elimination of waste material as there is no treatment of dangerous material;
• absence of purification equipment because of the absence of volatile harmful elements;
• powder overspray is almost totally reutilised so that waste powder is reduced to a minimum.

Finally, the polymerisation furnace can operate with temperatures up to 200° C. This improves the resistance and the durability of the finishing of treated products.
